BinderBuzz Terms of Use

Effective Date: October 8, 2026

BinderBuzz is currently an invitation-only beta service for organizing, scanning and managing trading-card collections.

By creating an account or using BinderBuzz, the user agrees to these Terms.

Beta Service

BinderBuzz is still being tested and developed.

Features may:

• Change
• Be temporarily unavailable
• Contain bugs
• Produce incorrect results
• Be added, removed or modified during testing

Users should maintain their own records of information that is especially important to them.

Card Recognition Is Not Guaranteed

BinderBuzz uses automated technology to help identify trading cards and related information.

Recognition results can be wrong.

Users must review information such as:

• Card name
• Set
• Card number
• Language
• Rarity
• Finish
• Condition
• Pricing
• Other card details

BinderBuzz does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or market value of card information.

BinderBuzz is not a professional grading, authentication or appraisal service.

Account Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

• Keeping login information secure
• Providing accurate account information
• Activities performed through their account
• Reviewing information generated by BinderBuzz

Users may not access another person's account or private information.

Accounts may be suspended or disabled when reasonably necessary to protect BinderBuzz, its users or the beta.

Acceptable Use

Users may not:

• Attempt to hack or bypass security
• Access another user's private data
• Abuse the scanner or automated services
• Deliberately overload the service
• Upload malicious files/code
• Make excessive automated requests without permission
• Attempt to obtain passwords, API keys or private system information
• Use BinderBuzz for unlawful activity
• Impersonate another person
• Intentionally interfere with another user's access

Normal bug testing and reporting are encouraged.

Exploiting a discovered vulnerability is not.

User Content

Community safety clarification — October 8, 2026: pornography, harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, spam, scams, malicious links, illegal content and exploitation of minors are prohibited in profiles, photos, collections, communities, posts and chat.

Report these concerns through Feedback & Support, choosing Safety / Abuse Report. Include the username, page link and time if known. Do not copy, download or submit suspected child sexual abuse material. Describe where it appeared without attaching the material. Use Block account on a profile to limit further interaction. Reports are private to the site owner.

Users retain ownership of card photos, collection information and other content they upload.

By uploading content, users give BinderBuzz permission to store, process, resize, display and transmit that content as necessary to provide BinderBuzz features.

Users should only upload content they have the right to use.

Third-Party Services

BinderBuzz relies on third-party services such as Cloudflare and OpenAI.

BinderBuzz is not responsible for outages or interruptions caused by third-party services outside its reasonable control.

Availability

BinderBuzz does not guarantee continuous availability.

During beta testing it may be unavailable because of maintenance, internet outages, host-computer downtime, software updates, security work or third-party outages.

No Warranty

BinderBuzz is provided "as is" and "as available" during the beta.

To the extent permitted by law, BinderBuzz does not guarantee the service will always be available, error-free or accurate.

Limitation Of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BinderBuzz is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses caused by use of the beta service.

This includes reliance on incorrect card identification, pricing information, card details or service availability.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived.

Account Suspension

BinderBuzz may suspend or terminate access because of:

• Abuse
• Security concerns
• Violation of these Terms
• Unauthorized access attempts
• Harm to other users
• Scanner/service misuse

BinderBuzz may also limit participation or close the invited beta.

Age Requirement

BinderBuzz is for adults aged 18 and older during the initial launch.

Users must be at least 18 years old.

Self-attestation is not conclusive age verification. Report suspected underage accounts privately for review and possible suspension.

Changes

BinderBuzz may update these Terms as the service develops.

Questions should be submitted through BinderBuzz Feedback & Support.

Accounts and safety

Account security provides verified email enrollment, password recovery, password changes and permanent account deletion. Password and email changes invalidate active sessions. Recovery links expire after 30 minutes and work once. The designated owner must arrange an ownership transition before deleting the owner account.

Public content may be screened or held privately before publication. Reports and moderation decisions are restricted to the owner. Suspected child exploitation incidents are handled outside ordinary image review. Read the Community guidelines or report a concern.

The proposed launch backup retention is 30 days. Backups are protected and access restricted; deleted information can remain in backups until expiry. Documented legal/safety preservation may require longer retention. This retention schedule must be configured before public registration.
